		<description>Totally agree about how the style and particularly the surrealism is reminiscent of early 20th century artists; for me I think of Chagall, even some of Van Gough&#039;s Parisian scenes.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;At the same time his work clearly adapts well to the modern, &quot;pop&quot;-y feel required in things like posters and flyers, as in the third image. &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Some of the pieces, with animal characters in them, put me in mind of a nursery rhyme or fairy tale- a childishness and colourfulness at first, but with an undoubtedly adult and sometimes almost sinister edge. &lt;br&gt;It&#039;s a wildly different style of course, but in this I think there&#039;s a similarity to some others you&#039;ve posted- such as James Jean. &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;It&#039;s very interesting how different artists can put across related sentiments with such contrasting approaches. &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Great stuff
