There’s some beautiful traditional comic book style illustration coming from Seoul-born Canadian artist Michael Cho. This feature focuses on these very special two tone creations he’s made for various editorial, advertising and promotional pieces.

What’s particularly excellent about the work he does, is the method he uses, which is to use old fashioned pencil, brushes, gouache paint and inks instead of what would seem the obvious, digital route.

    HI,
This is Krishna. Actually one small doubt, you titled as “Two Tone Illustration” but, in that image three tones are there, BLACK , WHITE & GREEN . Instead of Green red or blue is there. so , three colors are there in the image then how u name it as two tone… ?

I can explain that. It is two tone because it uses only two inks, the white is the paper.
