Mixed Media Realism by Steven Tabbutt

To create his images, Steven Tabbutt uses everything from paints and pastels to digital imagery, and to a point where you’re unsure where one medium starts and another begins. This fits perfectly with his illustrations, where highly realistic portraits sit surrounded by fantasy.

Since completing his master’s in 2006, this Maine-born artist has exhibited around the world and gained high recognition, picking up many awards along the way.
