Finnish artist, Lotta Nieminen has been working as an illustrator and designer since 2006. She’s picked up a lot of interest along the way, including honourable mentions in various logo competitions, as well as Vuoden Huiput (Best of Finnish advertising and graphic design).
What I like most in her work is the mixture of clean, crisp layouts and the sense of being hand made. In all her work, you can see a strong graphic style and apparent interest in design, but also a lot of feeling incorporated in though the textures in the images. I always find it interesting when you know an artist’s interests, such as logo design here, and can then see them filtering through in their other work.
