There’s such a fine quality to Raymond Lemstra‘s drawings. It’s nice to see strong design elements running through hand-crafted work like his. That, along with his moody character designs, makes for some very original work.

Raymond is inspired by primitive art and ways in which details are characterised. He describes his work as a clash of intent, simultaneously assuming simplicity and complexity, randomness and reason, flaws and perfection. The purpose of which is to inspire a sense of joy and discovery.
