We enjoy the process images that accompany many of Jessica Fortner’s portfolio pieces. They show the depth of the detail and scale of the pencil drafts. We featured Jessica’s work a couple of years ago, which she then followed up with a very insightful tutorial on stereoscopic sculptures.
However, her most recent work has taken her in a different direction, moving from model making to drawing. It’s a style that fits well and you can definitely still see the level of attention put into pen as you could in clay.
