The Bizarre and Beautiful in Helena Frank’s Animal Characters

August 22, 2013 |

Author: Philip Dennis

In the weird and intriguing world created by Helena Frank, the beautiful and the bizarre are brought to life in her animal characters. Parrots and elephants are among the creatures caught in mundane human activities and drawn in detailed pencil and muted tones. As well as her illustration work, Helena makes award-winning animations.
