Catch Up: Josephin Ritschel and Her Detailed Scenes in Pencil

August 26, 2014 |

Author: Philip Dennis

We first featured the pencil illustrations of Josephin Ritchel a couple of years ago when the intricacy in the detailing caught our eye. Since then, she has been busy honing her work and producing some great images, as well as exhibiting in Europe and the US.

When we looked at her work last time, we talked about the attention she gives the smallest details. We’re really happy to see her continuing in the same way here, pushing her illustrations even bigger and fuller of more visual highlights. We particularly enjoy her knack for creating scenes and environments with lots to see and think about as we look through them.
